Job summary

JTEC Consulting LLC actively seeks Mid-Level and Senior Python Software Engineers to design and deploy containerized microservices and backend APIs in an AWS cloud environment supporting classified federal programs. You will work within an agile team of developers, data scientists, and mission experts to solve complex, data-heavy challenges.

The role emphasizes Python development (FastAPI/Flask), Docker/Kubernetes, SQLAlchemy, OpenSearch, and CI/CD with Jenkins, aligned to strict security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline (equivalent years of direct experience considered).
• 5+ years of software development experience with Python for Mid-Level; 8+ years for Senior Level.
• Modern Python development (FastAPI, Flask, or similar REST frameworks).
• Containerization & orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm.
• Cloud computing experience (AWS, AWS C2S, EC2, Lambda, VPC).
• Version control & CI/CD pipelines with Git, Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Backend & API development of scalable microservices using Python.
• Deploy, manage, and scale in secure AWS environments (C2S).
• Build data pipelines and search capabilities with OpenSearch/Elasticsearch.
• Automate testing, integration, and deployment with Jenkins and scripting.
• Collaborate in an agile team ensuring IS/IA security guidelines.
