Job summary

Intone Inc. is seeking a MicroStrategy Developer for a 6-month contract in Media, PA. You will collaborate with business, analytics, and data engineering teams to design scalable, production-ready BI solutions and deliver compelling dashboards and reports.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in MicroStrategy development, strong SQL skills, and experience with data warehousing concepts. You will work across environments and participate in knowledge transfer and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on MicroStrategy development experience.
• Strong experience developing MicroStrategy Dossiers, Reports, Dashboards, Documents, metrics, filters, prompts.
• Experience with MicroStrategy schema design, metadata management, and troubleshooting.
• Advanced SQL skills with complex queries against large datasets.
• Experience with relational or cloud data platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Teradata, or similar.
• Solid data warehousing and dimensional modeling knowledge (star/snowflake schemes, facts, dimensions).
• Ability to gather requirements, identify data dependencies, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain MicroStrategy assets (Dossiers, Reports, Dashboards, Documents).
• Build and maintain MicroStrategy metadata, schema objects, attributes, facts, hierarchies, and semantic layers.
• Develop, validate, and optimize complex SQL queries and data structures.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and data engineers to translate requirements into solutions.
• Integrate and validate data from multiple sources to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Troubleshoot MicroStrategy, data, and performance issues across environments.
• Support testing, deployment validation, and production support activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer.
• Analyze reporting requirements and data dependencies to propose technical approaches.
• Deliver high-quality analytics solutions independently within timelines.
