Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) seeks a Senior Microsoft Security Engineer to lead design, implementation, and ongoing administration of Microsoft security platforms across IAM, endpoint management, and threat protection. This role supports a Zero Trust architecture and enhances security posture through Sentinel, Entra ID, Defender, Intune, and Purview.

The ideal candidate has MS security tech expertise, cloud identity management, incident response experience, and a proactive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Experience implementing Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Intune, Entra ID, and Purview.
• Experience with cloud security initiatives in Azure and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Conditional Access policies and MFA.
• Lead deployment and operation of Microsoft Sentinel and related tools.
• Manage endpoint security and device compliance with Intune/Autopilot.
• Develop incident response workflows and threat hunting using KQL.
• Create security dashboards and executive security metrics.
