Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking an experienced IT security professional to run and tune the client’s Purview setup, including labels, DLP, retention, insider risk, and eDiscovery from day one.

You will help grow the data protection program and report on it to legal, compliance, and security leaders, driving alignment across governance and risk teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in IT Security and 5+ years in Data Protection.
• Hands-on experience with sensitivity labels and Purview DLP across Microsoft 365 apps.

Job description

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years in IT Security and 5+ years in Data Protection.
• Hands-on experience with sensitivity labels, Purview DLP across Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and endpoints, plus Microsoft 365 security admin.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SC-401, SC-400, SC-100, or SC-200 certifications.
• Experience with eDiscovery (Premium), Insider Risk Management, retention policies, or DSPM.

Additional Information:

• Staff augmentation role anticipated to last 6 to 12 months with possible conversion to full-time.
• No visa sponsorship available; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
