Job summary

Galveston County Information Technology seeks a skilled Microsoft 365/MECM Administrator to design, deploy, and secure the enterprise environment. You will administer Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and related apps while coordinating with SOC for security.

PowerShell scripting is required to install and manage components and ensure patching across endpoints. Experience with MECM/SCCM, Power Apps, Power BI, and licensing management is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related major, or equivalent experience.
• Requires four years of experience providing design, management and support in Microsoft 365 and SCCM/MECM or closely related experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of all Microsoft 365 workloads – SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Planner, Power Apps and BI, OneDrive, Streams and Microsoft enterprise desktop applications.
• PowerShell scripting experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs, deploys, manages and serves as primary expert for the Microsoft 365 and MECM environment.
• Administers and maintains M365 collaboration applications including Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, OneNote and Planner.
• Functions as the Microsoft Exchange administrator.
• Functions as SharePoint file sharing administrator.
• In coordination with the SOC, manages Microsoft 365 security administration.
• Provides support to development teams in Power Apps and Power BI.
• Seeks and recommends improvements on existing Microsoft 365 and MECM architecture.
