Job summary

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking a senior Microsoft Systems Engineer in Tampa to install, configure, secure, and operate the Manatt domain, including Exchange Online, AD/On-Prem, Azure, TEAMS, and related security services. The role focuses on senior-level administration, troubleshooting, and automation within a Microsoft 365 environment.

The candidate will manage identity, messaging, and security across cloud and on-premises platforms, work with IT teams, and ensure high availability

Qualifications

• 5+ years maintaining domain controllers.
• 5+ years’ experience in Windows Operating Systems.
• 5+ years’ experience configuring and Managing MS Teams, OneDrive, and O365 applications.
• Active directory and ancillary technologies (DHCP, DNS, GPO, Sites and Services).
• Understanding of on-premise vs cloud-based server/software implementations.
• Azure AD sync setup and MDM management.
• Single Sign-On and MFA configuration (Okta & Azure preferred).
• Experience with email technologies such as archiving, antispam, backups, SMTP logs.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Microsoft 365 environment and capabilities.
• Test, implement, and deploy Exchange Online.
• Manage Exchange Online using Office 365 Admin tools.
• Implement and enforce data retention and security policies.
• Provide technical expertise on Microsoft 365 cloud services.
• Resolve escalated tickets and ensure SLA targets.
• Develop scripts for automating processes and reporting.
• Manage VPN solution and Always On VPN deployments.
• Perform migrations and deployments related to Exchange and AD.
• Coordinate with local IT for process improvements.
