Lumecg is seeking a senior Microsoft cloud professional to lead architectural direction for Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Copilot, Exchange Online, and related cloud services. The role blends strategic governance with hands-on tenant administration, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and operational support.

The ideal candidate will provide architectural guidance while resolving complex security, identity, compliance, and platform challenges across MS 365/Azure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years supporting Microsoft infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise environments.
• 5+ years administering Microsoft 365 tenants.
• 5+ years with Azure and Entra ID, IAM, CA, app registrations.
• 5+ years configuring Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities.

• 5+ years governance for MS 365 and Power Platform.
• 5+ years hands-on with Purview, Defender, DLP, information protection, audit, and logging.

Responsibilities

Job description

This individual will serve as the senior technical lead and advisor for Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID, Microsoft Copilot, Exchange Online, Microsoft security and compliance solutions, and related cloud services. The role combines strategic architecture and governance advisory responsibilities with hands‑on tenant administration, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and operational support.

The ideal candidate is a senior Microsoft cloud professional who can provide architectural direction while also resolving complex technical, identity, security, compliance, and platform-administration issues

Minimum Qualifications

• 8 or more years of experience supporting Microsoft infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise collaboration environments.
• At least 5 years of recent experience administering Microsoft 365 tenants.
• At least 5 years of experience with Azure and Entra ID, including identity and access management, conditional access, and application registrations.
• At least 5 years of experience configuring and supporting Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities.
• 5 years experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive.
• 5 years experience designing Microsoft 365 and Azure tenant or solution architectures.
• 5 years establishing or supporting governance frameworks for Microsoft 365 and Power Platform.
• 5 years hands‑on experience with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, data loss prevention, information protection, audit, and logging.
• 5 years experience troubleshooting complex Microsoft 365, Azure, security, identity, and integration issues.
• Minimum 8 years technical documentation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• 5 years experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, and API Management.
• 5 years advanced PowerShell scripting and Microsoft cloud automation experience.
• 5 years experience with SharePoint hybrid or legacy SharePoint environments.
• Relevant certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, security, compliance, or solution architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting a California state government, healthcare, insurance, or other regulated organization.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot readiness, architecture, security, governance, or implementation.
