Job summary
SES Corporation is seeking an experienced Microsoft Administrator II to manage and maintain the agency's Microsoft-based IT infrastructure. The role focuses on Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure, ensuring secure, stable operations through updates, backups, and troubleshooting.
The position entails user account management, cross-team collaboration for OCIO projects, and supporting both on-prem and cloud deployments while adhering to security
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 7 years experience in M365 administration
- Public trust security clearance
Responsibilities
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure security and integrity
- Collaborate with IT teams on Microsoft technologies integration into agency strategy
- Maintain Microsoft infrastructure including Windows Server, AD, Exchange, and Office 365
- Oversee deployments and support of migrations for Microsoft technologies
- Perform updates, backups, and troubleshooting to ensure reliability
- Manage on-call schedules and patch rotations for continuous availability
- Develop and maintain documentation for configurations and procedures
- Support disaster recovery planning and testing
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Implement monitoring and security policies as per agency baselines
