Job summary

Leidos LLC is seeking a Senior Microelectronics Engineer to support DoD microelectronic security programs and hardware assurance. You will apply expert knowledge in trust, counterfeit part detection, and supply chain risk management to advance national security efforts.

The role involves collaboration with government customers and inter‑agency partners, development of technical reports, and support for laboratory operations and testing activities.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Materials Science, or related field with 12+ years of experience, or MS with 10+ years.
• 8+ years in microelectronic security, hardware assurance, or SCRM.
• Expert knowledge in counterfeit part detection, testing, or risk assessment.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• Experience with DoD customers or programs.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical guidance for microelectronic security programs for DoD customers.
• Conduct counterfeit part risk assessments and coordinate testing per industry standards (AS6171).
• Support SCRM efforts related to microelectronics and hardware security.
• Perform reverse engineering analysis of hardware components and document findings.
• Collaborate with inter‑agency partners on microelectronic trust initiatives.
