Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a Medical Technologist for a full-time first-shift role in a clinical laboratory. You will perform moderate to high complexity testing, analyze and report results, and participate in safety and quality programs.

Requires BS in Medical Technology or equivalent with MT training, and ASCP certification. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, and pipettes are essential. 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or a related field with MT training.
• ASCP or equivalent certification required.
• Strong reading, writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate common laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate to high complexity testing and report results.
• Analyze and review testing data; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify when corrective actions are needed and implement solutions.
• Work in a fast-paced lab with biological and chemical hazards; uphold safety and quality control.
