Job summary

Kimberly-Clark seeks a Quality Control Microbiology Lab Manager to lead the Maumelle microbiology laboratory, oversee testing programs, and ensure regulatory compliance. You’ll manage 6–12 staff, drive quality improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and consumer safety.

Responsibilities include method validation, data integrity, and partnering to resolve quality issues, with a focus on GMP, ISO, and FDA guidelines across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, with 5+ years in a regulated microbiological lab and leadership experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, provide direction and develop others.
• Ensure testing meets ISO-17025, cGMP, FDA and customer requirements.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements supporting cGMP manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills; proactive leadership.
• Collaborate across cross-functional sites and teams.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maumelle microbiology laboratory operations, coordinating testing and release activities.
• Direct daily testing schedules, sample analysis, and workflow priorities.
• Ensure testing complies with GMP, ISO, FDA, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee test method transfers, validations, and proficiency testing.
• Develop team capabilities and provide clear direction to microbiologists and technicians.
• Conduct regular audits of production areas and laboratory adherence to SOPs.
