Responsibilities

• Lead and provide strategic/operational leadership for the microbiology laboratory, ensuring testing program integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Manage CAPA for microbiological non-conformities and oversee lab method development and reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement for laboratory efficiency and productivity and manage the department budget.
• Serve as technical resource for the plant and liaison for other units; represent microbiology in external audits.
• Hire and mentor staff, set goals aligned to dept plans, and maintain safe, professional work environment.
