Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Medical Technology, Physical or Biological Sciences.
• New York State CLT Licensure is required.
• ASCP certification is preferred; prior Microbiology experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory procedures and tests in Microbiology and Virology.
• Demonstrate knowledge of instrumentation and methodology used in Microbiology and Virology.
• Maintain quality control, troubleshooting and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Adapt to additional duties as needed.
