Job summary

PSC Biotech is seeking a skilled Microbiologist III to lead microbiology studies supporting innovative cleanroom and disinfection technologies. You will design experiments, perform analyses, and deliver technical reports while ensuring regulatory compliance and data integrity.

You will mentor technicians, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help translate findings into practical client solutions. A strong background in regulated labs and method development is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 5-7 years of microbiology lab experience in regulated environments.
• Experience with microbiological test methods, aseptic technique, method development, and study reporting.
• Knowledge of cGMP, data integrity, and lab documentation practices.
• Ability to work independently, troubleshoot deviations, and communicate results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute microbiology studies per approved protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Perform sampling, testing, and data analysis including Disinfectant Efficacy Testing.
• Lead studies, method development, and contract research from setup to completion.
• Document study data with accuracy and ensure data integrity.
• Train and mentor technicians and laboratory personnel; provide scientific leadership.
