Job summary

Siegfried Irvine, CA seeks a Senior Microbiologist on the 2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) to support sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will perform environmental monitoring, antimicrobial effectiveness testing, method validation, and investigations, while contributing to quality and patient safety.

This hands-on laboratory position offers leadership growth, opportunities to mentor others, and a focus on contamination control, product quality, and regulatory readiness within a growing CDMO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8-10+ years in pharmaceutical microbiology for sterile manufacturing.
• Experience with method validation and aseptic operations.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring and microbiological testing of materials and products.
• Provide direct microbiology support for sterile manufacturing operations.
• Lead investigations for OOT, OOS, deviations, and contamination control.
• Author and review protocols, reports, and investigations.
• Mentor microbiologists and support regulatory inspections.
