Thomson Reuters in the United States seeks a Senior Manager for Partner Strategy & Operations (PS&O) to scale the Partner Program and drive prioritized initiatives from concept to launch. You will build repeatable operating models, governance, and dashboards across partnerships, sales, product, and finance to deliver measurable outcomes.
This role emphasizes independent leadership, program adoption, and reducing key-person dependency while leveraging Salesforce, PRM, and analytics to improve
The Senior Manager, Partner Strategy & Operations (PS&O), Partnerships & Alliances is a strategic operator who expands the leadership and execution capacity of the Partnerships & Alliances team. This role serves as a deputy for the Partner Program, PMO Launch and IPD, providing leadership continuity, independently leading partner-facing initiatives, and reducing key-person dependency across critical priorities. This position combines partner ecosystem expertise, operational leadership, data-driven decision-making, and technology-enabled solution design. The individual turns strategy into execution by building the operating models, governance, roadmaps, processes, and accountability required to deliver measurable outcomes across the partner lifecycle. The role leads complex initiatives, some of which will be partner facing, from concept through launch, coordinating across Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Data, and Operations. It also builds scalable mechanisms, systems, reporting, and automation that improve partner experience, increase productivity, and enable the team to respond effectively as business priorities evolve.
Operationalize the Thomson Reuters Partner Program, including tracks, tiers, benefits, scorecards, governance, and partner journeys, and coordinate implementation across Partner Managers and supporting functions. Manage the program operating cadence, including participation tracking, tier reviews, governance forums, and partner progression, and support the transition of existing partners into the new framework. Develop repeatable processes, communications, playbooks, and enablement materials that drive consistent execution and partner adoption. Monitor program participation and effectiveness, turning feedback and performance insights into practical improvements.
Independently lead priority partner‑facing initiatives from definition through launch, adoption, and stabilization, with integrated delivery plans across Partnerships & Alliances and supporting functions. Establish clear objectives, scope, milestones, ownership, dependencies, decision points, and success measures, and engage Partner Managers and selected partners to gather requirements and address adoption barriers. Resolve cross‑functional issues, elevate material decisions with clear options and recommendations, and provide executive‑ready updates on progress, risks, trade‑offs, and required actions.
Operate a consistent intake, assessment, and prioritization process for complex partner‑facing launches, with integrated launch plans, stage gates, readiness criteria, and post‑launch activities. Coordinate cross‑functional launch readiness and maintain portfolio‑level visibility, using existing Thomson Reuters project‑management mechanisms and governance forums rather than duplicative tracking. Establish repeatable launch standards, templates, and accountability mechanisms, and facilitate launch reviews and lessons learned.
Maintain partner scorecards, program KPIs, and recurring review mechanisms, and analyze activity, engagement, pipeline, revenue, adoption, and participation to identify trends and exceptions. Translate data into clear recommendations on partner progression, intervention, investment, and enablement, and prepare decision‑ready materials with insights, options, trade‑offs, and recommended actions. Partner with Revenue Operations, Finance, Data, Sales Operations, and Technology to improve data quality, attribution, and reporting, and reduce manual analysis through repeatable processes.
Identify partner processes to standardize, simplify, redesign, or automate, and translate business needs into requirements, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans. Lead or support technology‑enabled improvements involving Salesforce, PRM, partner portals, workflow automation, analytics, and AI‑enabled processes, including validation, testing, training, and deployment. Set measurable outcomes for improvements, such as reduced cycle time, manual effort, and operational risk, and document procedures, decision rules, and controls to reduce key‑person dependency.
