Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Metrology Engineer to join our team in a permanent role. You will ensure precision in measurement systems, calibrate equipment, and support ISO/AS9100/ANSI compliance across projects.

You will work with high-tech tools and Fluke instruments, contribute to continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineers to uphold quality and reliability in aerospace manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in metrology or a similar role.
• Proficiency in calibration, instrumentation, and equipment performance testing.
• Experience with automatic test equipment and electrical calibration.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and ANSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration and adjustment of measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Conduct equipment performance testing to identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Use precision measurement tools and Fluke instruments for various engineering tasks.
• Ensure ISO 9001, AS9100, and ANSI standards compliance in metrology operations.
• Conduct audits to assess effectiveness of measurement systems and processes.
• Develop and implement metrology procedures and standards to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with automatic test equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
• Continually monitor and analyze measurement data to identify trends and potential issues.
• Collaborate with other engineers and professionals on projects and initiatives.
