Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Metrology to develop and maintain dimensional measurement systems for precision injection-molded medical components. You will validate inspection methods and calibrate metrology equipment across the product lifecycle.

You’ll work with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Production and Regulatory Affairs to advance measurement capability, support validation, and improve performance in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in metrology and manufacturing engineering in a production setting.
• Experience developing or supporting dimensional measurement and inspection systems.
• Experience with process validation and equipment qualification.
• Ability to interpret complex GD&T requirements and develop inspection methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate and optimize dimensional measurement methods for precision components.
• Program and operate CMMs and optical/vision metrology systems.
• Perform MSA, GR&R, capability studies and SPC to drive quality.
• Support mold qualifications, transfers and production startup.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing and R&D to address nonconformances.
