Accurate Marking & Manufacturing (AM&M) in New Kensington, PA is seeking a Lead Inspector to mentor a skilled inspection team and drive first‑article and in‑process CMM programs using Mitutoyo equipment and PC‑DMIS.

You'll interpret blueprints, lead AS9102 documentation, and uphold ISO 9001/AS9100 practices while collaborating with production to resolve nonconformances and maintain accurate quality records.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of manufacturing inspection experience with CMMs (manual and CNC).
• Demonstrated leadership—supervising, mentoring, elevating team capability.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and precision.
• Fluent in blueprint reading and metrology software (PC‑DMIS); MCOSMOS preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ASQ Inspector preferred.
• Clear written and verbal communication for cross‑functional work.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coordinate, and develop inspection team; train in quality procedures.
• Program and operate manual and CNC CMMs for precise verification.
• Interpret drawings and specs to confirm part conformance.
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMM software for analysis.
• Perform first‑article, in‑process, and final inspections; document AS9102.
• Identify nonconformances; work with production on corrective actions.
• Maintain quality records and generate inspection reports per ISO/AS9100.
• Champion safety, organization and continuous improvement.
