Job summary

Tris Pharma, Inc. in Monmouth Junction, NJ is seeking a Metrologist II to support analytical laboratories by calibrating and maintaining instrumentation such as HPLC/UPLC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and more under cGMP guidelines.

The role involves collaboration with laboratory management, documenting results, and mentoring junior staff. A Bachelor's in Chemistry or related field is required, with 3–4 years GMP-related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Chemistry, Engineering or related scientific field.
• Minimum 3 years lab experience in GMP-related industry or 4 years handling analytical equipment in pharma/biotech.
• Experience with FDA/cGMPs/cGLPs and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calibration and instrument verification on HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and related equipment.
• Document calibration results and maintain traceable records per SOPs and cGDPs.
• Train and mentor junior Metrologists and assist in investigations of calibration failures.
