Kunin Technologies in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Senior Metallurgist to own the metallurgy behind metal recovery projects: feed characterisation, behavior in unit operations, and the test programs needed to prove flowsheet readiness.

You will design bench-to-pilot metallurgical programs, supervise testing across leaching, ion exchange, solvent extraction, and precipitation, and mentor lab staff while traveling to partner sites and labs across the US and beyond.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in extractive metallurgy or hydrometallurgical process development.
• Experience advancing bench to pilot programs and usable flowsheets.
• Ability to close mass balances with quality data.

Responsabilités

• Lead metallurgical characterization of feeds, residues, and intermediates.
• Design and run metallurgical test programs from bench to pilot.
• Own the metallurgical basis of design, including kinetics and reagent use.
• Manage external labs and consultants, and defend metallurgical work in reviews.
• Mentor the Metallurgist and lab team on test design and data interpretation.
