Job summary

Kunin Technologies is a Chattanooga-based startup focused on advanced nano-separation for critical minerals. You will lead bench-scale hydrometallurgical test work, execute tests, and report results to help design scalable metal recovery processes.

You will prepare samples, ensure data integrity, and support pilot campaigns on site and at partner facilities, with extended hours during critical milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in metallurgical, chemical, or mineral processing engineering.
• 2–6 years of hydrometallurgical or mineral processing test work.
• Experience with leach, ion exchange, and solvent extraction bench testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute bench-scale hydrometallurgical test work including leaching, solid-liquid separation, ion exchange, and crystallization.
• Prepare and characterize samples with proper chain of custody and head assays.
• Close mass balances on tests and flag results that do not balance.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (reactors, columns, filters, mixer-settlers, analytical instruments).
• Write test procedures, maintain lab records, and produce data packages for stage-gate reports.
• Support pilot campaigns on site and at partner facilities; provide shift coverage.
