Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in micrographs, weld macros, fracture surfaces, coatings, or LPBF builds.
• Advanced knowledge of US and international standards (ASTM, AMS, AWS, NADCAP, NACE/AMPP, SSPC).
• AWS CWI credentials or equivalent metallurgical certification.
• Experience with metallographic analysis and heat treatment evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate metallographic microstructures to determine material acceptability and conformance to standards.
• Analyze heat treatment processes per AMS 2750 and related USA specifications.
• Assess weld quality via macro etch evaluation and CWI criteria.
• Perform coating inspection tasks per NACE/AMPP and SSPC protocols.
