Job summary

Gabletek Robotics and Controls Solutions in Utah is seeking a Weld Automation Engineer to design and support automated welding systems, from fixture design through PLC programming and machine validation.

This full-time role requires hands-on collaboration with mechanical, electrical, and QA teams, and includes travel to Michigan and Colorado Springs up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, and diagrams.
• Proficiency with welding codes and standards (e.g., AWS D1.1/D1.2/D1.3/D1.6, B2.1/ASME Section IX)
• Strong working knowledge of FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes.
• Working knowledge of NDT methods (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT) and weld inspection criteria per ASNT TC-1-A
