Qualifications

• Hands-on experience operating metallurgical laboratory equipment and interpreting test results.
• Strong knowledge of metallurgical and mechanical test methods.
• Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with powder metallurgy processes and specialized testing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct metallographic evaluations to identify microstructural defects and phases.
• Perform tests on incoming materials, in-process parts, and samples from vendors.
• Lead and support lab improvement initiatives and cost-reduction projects.
• Maintain organized records of test results and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate testing and troubleshoot issues with customers and internal teams.
• Supervise Metallurgical Technicians and ensure compliance with QA processes.
