Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduates or GED with strong math and writing skills.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic PC use is a plus.
• Metallography, chemical technology or physical testing experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Gather and prepare materials and specimens for testing.
• Test materials with analytical equipment to determine metallurgical, metallographic, chemical or powder properties.
• Collect and report test results.
• Maintain laboratory equipment.
• Assist in analysis of new equipment or test procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area; perform other similar related duties as required.
