Teck Resources Limited in Alaska seeks a Principal Metallurgist at Red Dog Mine. You will lead the metallurgy team, ensure long‑term integrated plans align with short‑term execution, and report to the Superintendent of Integrated Planning.

The rotation is 2 weeks on‑site and 2 weeks off‑site. Responsibilities include overseeing milling, grinding, flotation, dewatering and water treatment operations, driving continuous improvements, guiding production forecasts, and collaborating across

Formación

• B.S. in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical or Chemical engineering.
• 10+ years senior milling experience, preferably in lead/zinc.
• Experience coordinating and supervising technical teams.
• Experience leading projects to improve metallurgical performance and reduce costs.
• Team-oriented with ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Courageous leadership across varied environments.

Responsabilidades

• Lead metallurgy team development, including performance assessments and succession planning.
• Manage 5-year and 1-year production plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Embed continuous improvement in planning for crushing, grinding, flotation, dewatering and water treatment.
• Conduct variance management and scenario analysis to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate across departments to maximize value chain efficiency.
• Provide expert guidance to production and execution teams in decision-making.
• Develop operating modes and targeted action response plans.
