Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, or Physical/Materials Science.
• 5+ years of related experience in a material testing/laboratory environment preferred.
• Ability to design test protocols and manage complex projects.
• Strong communication, data interpretation, and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and failure analysis with data gathering, interpretation, and reporting.
• Design test protocols for failure analyses and materials problem solving.
• Develop procedures to study interactions between materials and environments.
• Identify failure mechanisms, contributing factors, causes, and preventative actions.
• Provide oversight and training to team members and assist in quoting projects.
