Job summary

CSG seeks a Senior Metallurgical Process Engineer to support major mineral processing projects from its Arizona office. You will lead flowsheet development, interpret metallurgical testwork, and coordinate multidisciplinary design deliverables across the project lifecycle, with occasional site travel for commissioning and troubleshooting.

The role emphasizes safe, reliable, and cost-effective process plant solutions with a strong focus on collaboration and technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in mining, minerals and metals industries.
• Proven ability to deliver process engineering within EPCM/engineering services environments.
• Experience across conceptual to commissioning stages with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and ability to manage technical priorities and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provide metallurgical and process engineering across crushing, grinding, flotation, leaching, and SX/EW circuits.
• Develop flowsheets, interpret testwork, and set design criteria and recovery targets.
• Prepare mass, energy, and water balances with engineering design margins.
• Create and validate process models and PFDs/P&IDs for project deliverables.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to deliver integrated designs.
• Support commissioning, ramp-up and performance testing with technical reviews.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
