Job summary

Combined Selection Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Metallurgical Process Engineer to lead flowsheet development, metallurgical testwork interpretation and design criteria for major mineral processing projects in the Arizona office.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical/ Mineral Processing or chemical engineering or related discipline.
At least 10 years in mining/mineral processing with metallurgical plants.
Experience delivering process engineering in EPCM or engineering services.

Responsibilities

Provide metallurgical and process engineering support across crushing, grinding, flotation and leaching.
Interpret testwork and develop design criteria for flowsheets and equipment selection.
Develop process design basis, mass, energy, and water balances.
Create and validate process simulations and performance models.
Analyze plant data to identify debottlenecking and optimization opportunities.
Prepare PFDs, P&IDs and technical specifications; review vendor documents.
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, automation and civil teams for integrated designs.
Support construction, commissioning and ramp-up with technical reviews.
Lead metallurgical accounting and reconciliation models.
