Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AS9001, ISO 17025, and Nadcap Quality Standards preferred.

Essential Functions

• Assist in maintaining AS9100 certification, including writing procedures, training new team members, and handling QA administrative requirements.
• Perform internal quality audits and support corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze data for statistical process control (SPC) projects.
• Generate graphs, diagrams, and technical reports as required.
• Support customer claim and complaint systems, as well as non-conformance management (NCM).
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Review furnace certification documentation for accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working area; observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Perform work in accordance with ECFG’s AS9001 Quality Management System.
• At times the employee may be required to perform work in accordance with ISO 17025, Nadcap or other Standards. During testing the team member is considered to be a part of Quality Department and shall not be pressured by outside influences.

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree preferably in Quality/Statistical Analysis; 4-year technical degree in Statistics or Engineering preferred.
• Experience in metals industry, in Quality, Metallurgy or Statistics preferred.
• Experience and Formal Training in Statistical Analysis, Statistical Process Control, Lean Manufacturing along with the AS9001, ISO 17025 and Nadcap Quality Standards preferred.
