Qualifications

• Hands-on experience setting up progressive, compound, and secondary‑operation dies.
• Experience operating coil‑fed stamping systems and related material‑feeding equipment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, setup sheets, and inspection plans.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate mechanical, hydraulic, and other metal stamping presses per procedures.
• Install, align, secure, and remove dies including progressive, compound, and blanking dies.
• Verify tooling revision levels match work orders and documentation.
• Adjust shut height, stroke, press speed, feed length, alignment, lubrication, and other parameters.
• Load and thread coil stock through feeders and guides.
• Complete safe, accurate press setups within timeframes and meet changeover targets.
• Produce first‑piece samples with minimal adjustments and maintain production rates.
• Keep records accurate and communicate production or tooling concerns.
