Job summary

Clients Blackbox, Inc. is hiring a Senior Paid Media Strategist to own client performance across Meta campaigns, strategy, messaging, and creative testing.

You will write direct-response copy and VSL scripts, lead testing strategies, and drive funnel improvements. You will report to the Associate Director of Operations and manage client relationships, retention, and renewals while optimizing campaigns and coordinating cross-functional efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on paid media experience with Meta ads.
• Experience managing multiple accounts and leading client strategy calls.
• Strong direct-response copywriting skills for ads and VSL scripts.
• Experience developing and testing creative concepts, hooks, angles, and messaging.
• Experience with conversion tracking, pixels, and marketing automation.
• Excellent communication, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of client accounts and act as the primary strategic point of contact.
• Lead bi-weekly client calls covering performance, strategy, testing priorities, and next steps.
• Prepare and send bi-weekly performance reports at least 24 hours before scheduled calls.
• Translate performance data into clear recommendations and strategic decisions.
• Build strong client relationships that support retention, renewals, and referrals.
• Proactively identify and address account risks and opportunities.
• Build, launch, and optimize Meta campaigns focused on lead generation and appointment booking.
• Manage budgets, audiences, bid strategies, account structure, and creative testing.
• Monitor daily performance against cost-per-appointment and other metrics.
• Diagnose underperforming campaigns and determine where changes improve results.
• Develop structured testing strategies across audiences, offers, messaging, creative, and variables.
• Write direct-response ad copy and video scripts for financial services audiences.
• Develop hooks, angles, offers, and messaging variations for testing.
• Use performance data to generate new creative and messaging hypotheses.
• Collaborate with video editors and provide clear creative direction.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research and copy development while maintaining quality.
