Job summary

Talener seeks a Senior Messaging Systems Engineer for a premier law firm in New York, NY. You will lead the administration and support of Exchange, Exchange Online, Entra ID, and MDM to ensure secure and reliable messaging across the enterprise.

This hybrid role is based in New York, NY with on-site presence 3x/week at Hudson Yards. You will design, implement, and troubleshoot messaging infrastructure, manage security technologies, and collaborate with IT teams to enhance performance and

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
Expert-level experience with Exchange Online and Azure/Entra ID.
Experience with Intune, MobileIron, and/or other MDM platforms.
Strong knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and Entra administration.
Advanced PowerShell, DNS, and DHCP skills.
Excellent communication and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support Exchange (on-premises and Exchange Online) environments.
Manage and maintain messaging infrastructure, including Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and MDM solutions.
Troubleshoot Exchange and Active Directory issues and provide ongoing operational support.
Administer messaging security technologies, including anti-spam, anti-virus, mail gateways, and TLS.
Monitor the environment and recommend improvements to performance and security.
Create technical documentation and support enterprise messaging projects.
