Innovative Driven in New York City is seeking a Messaging Systems Engineer to join a top litigation team. You will architect, deploy, and maintain global messaging infrastructure, including Exchange, Active Directory, and Entra ID, while implementing robust security controls.

The role requires after-hours support in a hybrid setting (3 days onsite, 2 remote) and close collaboration with partners, senior attorneys, and clients on high-stakes matters.

Qualifications

• 6+ years hands-on with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
• Advanced Exchange Online administration.
• Strong Microsoft Entra ID administration.
• Configuring and enforcing MFA for privileged accounts.
• Securing access to Microsoft Entra Graph API.
• Proficient PowerShell scripting.
• MDM experience with MobileIron and Intune.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work after-hours as needed.
• Experience with DNS/DHCP and RBAC.

Responsabilités

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a Messaging Systems Engineer to become an integral member of a top ranked litigation team at one of our prestigious NYC global law firm clients!

Ideal candidates will demonstrate a history of collaboration with partners, senior attorneys, clients, across the complexities of high-stakes litigation.

The role will require the ability to provide after-hours support, and the firm operates in a hybrid structure (3 days onsite in NYC and 2 days remote).

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, and maintain global messaging infrastructure, including Exchange, Mobile Device Management (MDM), Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and associated security systems.
• Administer Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including role-based access control (RBAC), monitoring, security management, backups, scripting, and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to messaging systems and Active Directory.
• Manage messaging security solutions, including third-party email gateways, antivirus, anti-spam systems, and TLS technologies.
• Proactively monitor messaging environments and recommend enhancements to improve performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation; provide training and knowledge transfer to peers and IT engineering teams.
• Create technical proposals and supporting documentation for business reviews and training initiatives.
• Design, implement, and support mobile device management solutions, including platforms such as MobileIron, AirWatch, and Microsoft Intune.
• Execute large-scale projects independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Provide after-hours support and support project deliverables as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
• Advanced expertise in Exchange Online administration.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID administration
• Configuring and enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), especially for privileged accounts.
• Securing and managing access to Microsoft Entra Graph API.
• Strong troubleshooting expertise across Active Directory and Exchange environments.
• Advanced working knowledge of DHCP, DNS, and PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with MDM solutions such as MobileIron and Microsoft Intune.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Visio.
• Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Availability for on-call or after-hours support as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large, global enterprise environments (law firm experience highly preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Current Microsoft certifications in Exchange and Active Directory/Entra ID.
• Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure components, including load balancers, VMware, compute, and storage systems.
