Job summary
Talener is assisting a premier law firm in New York, seeking a Senior Systems Engineer, Messaging/Exchange to lead administration and support of Exchange, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and MDM environments. The role focuses on secure and reliable messaging services, with 3x/week onsite work in New York.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and supporting Exchange on-premises and online, managing Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and MDM, handling security technologies,
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.
- Expert-level experience with Exchange Online and Azure/Entra ID.
- Experience with Intune, MobileIron, and/or other MDM platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and Entra administration.
- Advanced PowerShell, DNS, and DHCP skills.
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Exchange (on-premises and Exchange Online) environments.
- Manage and maintain messaging infrastructure, including Entra ID, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and MDM solutions.
- Troubleshoot Exchange and Active Directory issues and provide ongoing operational support.
- Administer messaging security technologies, including anti-spam, anti-virus, mail gateways, and TLS.
- Monitor the environment and recommend improvements to performance and security.
- Create technical documentation and support enterprise messaging projects.
