Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. seeks an experienced MES Engineer to lead and manage site-level implementations of Siemens Opcenter Execution Semiconductor across photonics and semiconductor operations. This hands-on role coordinates cross-functional teams, guiding planning, discovery, go-live, stabilization, and handoff to ongoing support.

The candidate will coordinate with IT/OT, manage master data flows, testing, and change management to ensure site readiness and successful deployment.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution Semiconductor or another enterprise MES platform.
• Experience with SAP-to-MES integration and manufacturing master data.

Responsibilities

• Lead site implementations with plans, milestones, resources, risks and status reporting.
• Assess site readiness, document processes and data flows, and drive decisions.
• Translate needs into clear requirements (process, functional, data) and acceptance criteria.
• Build process models from business specs and assist in MES process model execution.
• Coordinate with IT, OT, and consultants as primary implementation liaison.
• Manage ERP/MES master data, interfaces, cutover dependencies, and testing readiness.
• Lead change management: communications, training plans, and support model preparation.
• Oversee data readiness, cutover, go-live and stabilization to steady state.
