Job summary

Corning is hiring a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Solution Architect to standardize and scale Siemens Opcenter across its global manufacturing network, based in Charlotte, NC. You will partner with business and IT leaders to drive operational excellence and digital transformation.

The role requires hands-on design leadership, strong development and integration skills, and a track record of delivering scalable MES solutions while aligning with IT standards.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with enterprise application development in manufacturing.
• Hands-on IT experience in mission-critical, 24/7 environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Siemens Opcenter Execution solution architecture across global sites.
• Architect, implement, and support MES capabilities per IT standards.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and designs.
• Ensure MES-ERP and shop floor integration with end-to-end digital ecosystem.
