Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a visionary Solutions Architect of Merchandising Technology to lead our company’s technology strategy across merchandising platforms. You will identify, evaluate, and architect innovative solutions that optimize merchandising operations in both existing and new applications, while defining foundation and development principles for major platform implementations and upgrades.

Qualifications

8+ years’ experience developing and architecting enterprise solutions.
Experience in implementing large-scale Merchandising technology solutions.
Pro-active and self-motivated problem solving with customer experience focus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present to senior leaders.
Strong presentation skills with ability to conduct sessions to large groups.
Experience in multi-vendor ecosystem with capability to manage conflicts/escalations.

Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate current and emerging technologies for Merchandising platforms.
Oversee architecture design and support of Core Merchandising and related modules.
Modernize a legacy Mainframe while guiding migration to new tech.
Elevate architecture practices to world-class standards across retailers.
Define deployment configurations for very large enterprises.
Provide technical guidance to developers, analysts, and QA teams.
Analyze data, integrations, and patterns to support scalable platforms.
Document technical designs, estimates, specifications, and maintenance guides.
