Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Engineer IV, Merchandising Planning Delivery Lead in New York, NY. The role drives strategy, modernization, and delivery of merchandising planning technology solutions, partnering with business and IT stakeholders to deliver value.

You will lead architecture, roadmap development, and platform evolution to support planning, forecasting, analytics, and business decisions, with a focus on advanced analytics, automation, and AI to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
15+ years of IT experience with at least 7 years as an engineer.
Experience leading large-scale technology implementations, modernization initiatives, or digital transformation programs.
Experience working with SaaS-based enterprise planning platforms, cloud-based applications, and integrated technology ecosystems.
Strong knowledge of merchandising planning, forecasting, analytics, and retail technology platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead strategy, roadmap, design, implementation, and ongoing evolution of merchandising planning technology solutions.
Provide technical leadership for planning platform modernization, analytics, and automation initiatives.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and develop scalable technology solutions.
Establish and maintain engineering standards, governance, and solution architectures.
