Vistar in Englewood, CO is seeking a Senior Merchandising Analyst to partner with Purchasing, support process execution, and drive continuous improvement. You will develop training, SOPs, and reporting to ensure consistent operations.

The role requires 2–4 years in purchasing/merchandising, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. A collaborative, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in purchasing, buying, merchandising, inventory management, replenishment, supply chain, or related role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key operational resource for Purchasing leadership and provide department support and backup.
• Lead onboarding and training for new team members and develop training materials.
• Create, maintain, and enhance SOPs, job aids, process documentation, and training resources.
• Facilitate training sessions for Sales and other business partners on purchasing processes, expectations, and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance communication across departments.
• Coordinate and manage multiple projects with tracking of progress, priorities and deliverables.
• Manage customer promotional inventory purchases with Sales, Inventory Management, and Suppliers to ensure readiness.
• Monitor promotional purchasing activities and provide updates on inventory status and risks.
