Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Sales Service Representative to support regional sales efforts and execute the SmartStock program across assigned stores. You will collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure compliance and provide merchandising and sales support, building strong customer relationships along the way.

Responsibilities include maintaining call routines, managing stock and displays, and resolving customer issues promptly while adhering to company policies and store guidelines.

Position Details:

• Schedule is Monday - Friday starting at 8am
• Pay is $21 - $25 an hour (based on experience)
• Phone & Car allowance + Mileage reimbursement available!
• Must have a reliable form of transportation to travel to convenience stores and customer locations.

Position Summary:

As a Sales Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our strategic sales initiatives in your assigned sales region, collaborating closely with the Sales Team in that area. Your responsibilities will encompass tasks focused on executing our SmartStock program, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing merchandising and sales support. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with customers in the sales region and supporting the Sales Team in addressing their needs and concerns. Your professionalism and business execution are critical contributions to driving business forward for our customers, vendors, and ourselves.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a detailed and specific call routine with a designated ledger of customers.
• Maintenance and execution of the SmartStock program (racks, plan-o-grams, ordering, and merchandising activities).
• Identifying and reducing out-of-stock on shelves.
• Ensuring products are fresh and within date code parameters.
• Attending customer needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensuring plan-o-gram, marketing best practices, and compliance in stores.
• Identifying display opportunities and maximizing display positioning.
• Ensuring that products are properly displayed, priced, and identified.
• Finding solutions to possible customer challenges with assistance.
• Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• 1-2 years of working experience in a customer service, merchandising or sales position.
• Ability to drive to customer locations using personal transportation (mileage and gasoline reimbursement provided).
• Must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and proper valid insurance.
