New Era Cap, LLC is seeking a Manager of Merchandise and Retail Planning to lead assortment, buying, and inventory strategies for NYC Flagship and Buffalo stores. The role partners with Buying, Planning, Ecommerce, Retail Operations, Product Teams, and Store Leadership to align assortments with financial goals and customer demand.

The position is on-site in NYC/Buffalo with travel to support launches and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in merchandising management or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in buying/planning.
• Experience in soft goods or retail preferred.

Responsabilités

• Determine NYC Flagship and Buffalo store assortments through line plan process.
• Execute buy plan templates with stakeholders prior to close dates.
• Ensure buys meet financial plans across silhouette, color, size matrices.
• Collaborate with product teams to secure exclusive silhouettes and colors.
• Maintain calendar of in-store events and launches for NYC Flagship and Buffalo store.
• Position inventory for scheduled launches and promotions with cross-functional teams.
• Own weekly stock requests to ensure adequate service levels for top-selling items.
