Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Manager, Merchandise Planning to lead a team of merchandise planners responsible for sales, inventory, and profitability across an assigned division. You will drive long-range planning, budgeting, open-to-buy decisions, and data analytics while collaborating with Merchandising, Inventory Management, Space Planning, Pricing and Supply Chain.

The role requires 6+ years in merchandise planning or related fields, with 1–2 years of people leadership.

Qualifications

6+ years’ experience in Merchandise Planning or related field.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related study.
1–2 years of managing a team preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of merchandise planners in sales, inventory, markdowns, and profit analyses.
Build long-range plans that align with company goals using advanced analytics.
Ensure financial strategy aligns with the budget and profit parameters of the division.
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners in Merchandising, Inventory Management, Space Planning, Pricing and Supply Chain.
Develop processes to support integrated business planning with stakeholders.
Present financial plans to senior leadership and drive actions to meet objectives.
