Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Lead Graphic Designer, Merchandising and Events to lead product design across apparel, patches, and event collateral. You will own the end-to-end product design process and align with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.

The role requires a strong portfolio in merchandise and graphic design, 8+ years of experience in fast-paced environments, and expert skills with Adobe Creative Suite. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in design or artistic field.
• 5+ years of professional design experience in illustration, graphic design, or print production.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with merchandise team to design new products informed by key milestones.
• Create customer gifting items like mission patches and conference products.
• Own the design process from concept to production handoff and ensure deadlines are met.
• Design and create company patches and provide multiple file types for various uses.
• Maintain tech packs, fit charts, color standards, and fabric specs.
