Space Exploration Technologies Corp (SpaceX) is seeking a Lead Graphic Designer for Merchandising and Events in Hawthorne, CA. You will lead the design of apparel, mission patches, and event collateral, working with engineers and teams to deliver on-brand products.

You will own the design process from concept to production, developing graphics for social, web, and print while managing multiple projects under deadline pressure. A strong portfolio and 5+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design or artistic field.
• 5+ years of professional design experience in illustration, graphic design, or print production.
• 8+ years in product, graphic, and merchandise design; impressive portfolio required.
• Strong portfolio of merchandise and graphic designs; ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of merchandise and events across SpaceX brands.
• Own product design from concept to production hand-off with timely releases.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams for customer-focused designs.
• Design mission patches, gifts for conferences, and event collateral.
• Develop uniforms, tech packs, color standards, and fabric specs.
• Enhance SpaceX online store with strong visual merchandising.
