Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in merchandising analytics or a related role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key operational resource for Purchasing leadership and provide departmental support and backup coverage as needed
• Lead onboarding and training efforts for new team members and develop training materials to support ongoing team development
• Create, maintain, and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs), job aids, process documentation, and training resources
• Facilitate training sessions for Sales and other business partners on purchasing processes, expectations, and best practices
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance communication across departments
• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate workflows, implement process improvements, and support business initiatives
• Coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously while tracking progress, priorities, and deliverables
• Manage customer promotional inventory purchases by partnering with Sales, Inventory Management, and Suppliers to ensure product readiness and successful program execution
• Monitor promotional purchasing activities and provide timely updates regarding inventory status, risks, and readiness
• Utilize reporting and data analysis to identify trends, support decision-making, and recommend operational improvements
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of data, documentation, and reporting used within the department
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external business partners while delivering a high level of customer service
• Demonstrate flexibility, professionalism, and adaptability while effectively managing changing priorities and business needs
• Perform other duties as assigned
