The role requires extensive experience with MEP systems, subcontractor management, and strong CPM scheduling skills, contributing to on-time, on-budget project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Construction/MEP supervision.
• Proven track record as PM or superintendent on large commercial projects (>$20M for MEP).
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low-voltage systems.
• General understanding of building, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes as they relate to construction.
• Experience dealing with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP subcontractors through the project duration.
• Develop CPM schedules for MEP installation and a schedule of values for billing.
• Coordinate activities, schedule, materials, logistics, and temporary facilities with the building superintendent and project team.
• Review and approve materials/equipment for MEP systems and monitor installation, startup, and commissioning.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate with project managers and owners during weekly meetings.
• Review contract documents and suggest improvements as needed.
• Supervise, develop and mentor MEP Project Engineers.
• Oversee review and coordination of submittals and shop drawings.
