Job summary

Lemartec, a national general contractor, seeks a Senior MEP Superintendent to lead field teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure quality and safety on multiple projects. This traveling role travels across the United States to support various sites.

Ideal candidates bring proven superintendent experience, strong plans/spec knowledge, OSHA fundamentals, and the ability to manage subcontractors and inspections while maintaining master schedules and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; construction management or engineering background.
• Minimum 6 years as a construction Superintendent; 10+ years if no degree.
• Strong scheduling, planning, and document control skills.
• OSHA safety knowledge and certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera).

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of superintendents, project field engineers, and other field staff.
• Permit document administration and control.
• Review and understand subcontractor scope of work.
• Coordinate safety meetings and responsibility for project safety.
• Control project access and traffic.
• Oversee tool/equipment inventory, coordination, and rental.
• Coordinate scheduling, testing, and certificates (concrete, soil).
• Report progress with PM/PCM/PFE daily; track subcontractor performance.
• Prepare 3-week look-ahead and update master schedule with PCM.
• Generate Daily Log Reports (Procore).
• Maintain As-Built drawings for final submittal.
• Coordinate project inspections and close-out documentation.
• Ensure quality control of materials and equipment.
• Site layout and benchmark control.
