Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting seeks an experienced Senior MEP Superintendent to lead field execution on a major data center project in Texas. The role will oversee electrical/MEP scopes, coordinate with multiple trades, and drive project performance from construction through closeout.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of MEP superintendent experience on large-scale projects, with a strong background in electrical construction and MEP coordination, and willingness to travel within Texas.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an MEP Superintendent or Electrical Superintendent on large-scale construction projects
• Experience leading $20M+ electrical/MEP scopes
• Strong background in electrical construction and MEP coordination
• Experience working for a General Contractor, electrical contractor, or mechanical contractor
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, subcontractor management, field coordination, and project execution
• Experience with data centers, mission critical, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or other technically complex projects is strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Must be willing to travel and work on projects throughout Texas

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution of major electrical/MEP scopes on a large-scale data center project
• Oversee $20M+ in electrical/MEP scope, including manpower, scheduling, subcontractors, quality, and overall field performance
• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, electrical and mechanical subcontractors, design teams, vendors, and field leadership
• Manage daily site operations, manpower planning, material deliveries, inspections, and subcontractor activities
• Develop and maintain short-term and 3–6 week look-ahead schedules
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and MEP coordination documents
• Identify and resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, and coordination challenges
• Lead MEP coordination meetings and maintain strong communication with trade partners and project stakeholders
• Partner with Project Managers to maintain schedule, quality, safety, and project performance
• Support testing, commissioning, startup, and successful project closeout

Our client is a large, established general contractor seeking a Senior MEP Superintendent to join their team on a major data center project in Texas.

This is a high-profile, technically complex project requiring an experienced MEP Superintendent who can lead field operations, coordinate multiple trades, and drive the project from construction through completion.

What You'll Do

Compensation

Competitive base salary, depending on experience.
